Structure
Greater clarity around the existing business structure, asset ownership and whether the current arrangements remain appropriate as the business develops.
Following our discussions, we have prepared three levels of ongoing support so you can choose the relationship that best suits the business today.
The opportunity is not simply to prepare tax returns. It is to create greater confidence around your business, your structure, compliance obligations and the decisions being made as the business grows and evolves.
The proposed engagement reflects the matters raised in our discussions and gives you flexibility to determine how involved you would like PRATT Partners to be.
Greater clarity around the existing business structure, asset ownership and whether the current arrangements remain appropriate as the business develops.
Reliable management of company tax, BAS, annual reporting and the broader compliance obligations of a growing business.
Consideration of material contractor, superannuation, employment and other tax and compliance risks as they arise.
Access to practical advice before significant tax, financial and business decisions become locked in.
Select the statement that most closely reflects what you want from your accountant.
Each service level builds on the one before it. The difference is how proactively you would like PRATT Partners involved throughout the year.
The core tax, accounting and company compliance requirements, professionally managed.
Includes ordinary year-end adjustments, tax reconciliation, depreciation review, material balance sheet reconciliations, company tax calculation and electronic lodgement following approval.
The scope assumes that the accounting records are reasonably complete and reconciled.
Bookkeeping, payroll processing, substantial correction or reconstruction of accounting records, historical remediation and specialist advice are not included unless separately agreed.
Businesses primarily wanting reliable compliance and annual tax preparation.
Compliance plus proactive tax planning, a structured mid-year strategy review and greater access to advice throughout the year.
Designed to create opportunities to consider tax outcomes before year end rather than simply reporting the result after the event.
The 6-month strategy review provides a structured mid-year checkpoint to consider the financial and tax position, emerging priorities and matters that may benefit from earlier attention.
As part of onboarding we will also undertake a high-level review of the current structure and material business tax and compliance risks relevant to our scope.
Detailed restructuring advice, modelling, implementation, historical remediation, valuations, legal documentation or specialist advice will be separately scoped where required and discussed with you before proceeding.
Growing owner-managed businesses wanting proactive tax planning, a structured mid-year review and greater visibility throughout the year.
A closer advisory relationship for business owners wanting senior input into financial, tax and business decisions throughout the year.
Intended for businesses seeking a closer ongoing advisory relationship rather than an annual compliance-only service.
The initial high-level structure and risk diagnostic is included as part of commencement.
Detailed restructuring advice, modelling, implementation, valuations, legal documentation, historical remediation and specialist advice remain outside the standard recurring scope unless separately agreed.
Legal, financial product, credit, insurance and other regulated specialist advice is not provided under this engagement. Where appropriate, we can coordinate with suitably qualified external advisers.
Businesses wanting an adviser involved throughout the year and before significant decisions are made.
No separate upfront advisory fee is required to commence Growth or Strategic Advisory.
As part of onboarding, we will undertake a high-level review of the current structure and material tax and compliance matters relevant to the agreed scope.
Where that review identifies a need for detailed advice, restructuring, modelling, implementation, historical remediation, legal documentation or specialist input, we will explain the issue and agree the additional scope and fee with you before proceeding.

As a business grows, the value of good advice increasingly comes from identifying issues and opportunities before decisions are locked in.
